3. KYC and Government Identification

For this purpose, Open Mirror may collect government-issued identification documents submitted by the user.
3.1 Storage of KYC Documents
Currently, submitted KYC documents are stored securely in an Amazon Web Services (AWS) S3 storage environment and may be accessed by authorised Open Mirror administrators for manual verification.
The current verification process is performed manually by authorised personnel.
Open Mirror may retain such documents for purposes including:
- Identity verification.
- Platform safety.
- Fraud prevention.
- Prevention of impersonation.
- Dispute investigation.
- Compliance.
- Protection of users and the platform.
Access to KYC information is intended to be limited to authorised personnel who require access for legitimate operational, safety, verification, or compliance purposes.
3.2 Verification Disclaimer
Completion of KYC or identity verification does not constitute:
- A character certificate.
- A criminal background check.
- A guarantee of a user's intentions.
- A guarantee of a user's future conduct.
- A legal endorsement by Open Mirror.
- A guarantee that a user is completely safe or trustworthy.
Users should exercise reasonable caution and follow Open Mirror's Safety Policies when interacting with other users.
4. Selfie / Facial Verification
Open Mirror does not currently provide a separate selfie-based facial verification or biometric verification feature.
If such functionality is introduced in the future, this Privacy Policy and applicable privacy disclosures may be updated accordingly.
5. Location Information
Open Mirror does not currently track users' real-time GPS locations or continuously monitor their physical location.
Instead, users may voluntarily provide location-related profile information such as:

The current calling functionality is supported through a third-party calling technology provider.
Open Mirror does not intentionally record or store voice/video call recordings as part of its current platform functionality.
However, because calling infrastructure is provided through a third-party technology service, certain technical or operational information associated with calls may be processed by that service in accordance with its applicable terms and privacy practices.
Open Mirror will not intentionally use call recordings for unrelated purposes.

Users should exercise caution before moving conversations or arrangements outside the platform.
